Flared & Straight Staircases Flared stairs are wider at the bottom than they are at the top. Most often, the
first several treads and risers are flared, on one or both sides, and the balance
of the staircase is straight or ell shaped.
Heirloom Stair & Iron was able to work with the architects, contractors,
and decorators involved with this project to design and fabricate custom stair
and rail systems that met the specific requirements a very unique job. We look
