Company History

Initially named “Heirloom Stairworks,” our company began in 1994 after the founder and current owner, Allyn Moseley, moved to South Carolina from Shingle Springs California, seeking an ideal place to raise his family.

It doesn’t look like much now, but this old barn garage is where we got our start.

Heirloom added its Iron Division in 2003, moved into this more spacious 5,000 sq. ft. building on South Carolina Highway 11, and changed the company name to “Heirloom Stair and Iron.”

One of our first custom iron projects, completed in 2003 prior to moving into the Highway 11 facility. This photo was taken inside the original barn/garage facility.

2007 brought more expansion, required by the rapid growth of the Iron Division, the addition of a top-flight CNC router, and the need for a showroom facility. The original 5,000 square foot building is visible in the photo below adjacent to the newest addition, which brings the facility to 12,000 Sq Ft.
